From 2nd March 2026, the members of the Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Automotive Cluster will be joined by the Hungarian DigiLean Association, which provides industrial digitalisation and Lean management services, consultancy and training to improve the efficiency of manufacturing companies – with nationwide coverage from its headquarters in Veszprém.
On 24 February 2026, Balluff-Elektronika Kft., which manufactures electronic sensors as well as components required for identification solutions, industrial communication and network technology in Veszprém and Csetény, joined the Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Vehicle Industry Cluster.
The Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Vehicle Industry Cluster held its professional workshop at Macher Zrt. in Székesfehérvár, where, alongside a review of current automotive challenges and trends, participants also gained an insight into the company's manufacturing and development departments during a plant tour.
On 20–21 November 2025, the Veszprém County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VKIK), in cooperation with the Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén County Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BOKIK) and the Pécs-Baranya Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PBKIK), organised a Mechatronics and Automotive Cluster Meeting in Veszprém.
On 18th November 2025, IndASys Kft. based in Veszprém, which specialises in industrial automation and custom machine building, among other things, joined the Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Vehicle Industry Cluster.
Operated by the Veszprém County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Automotive Cluster (BBMJK) organised a professional workshop in Ajka on 28 May at the headquarters of Poppe+Potthoff Hungária Kft., focusing on competitiveness and artificial intelligence.
The VKIK and the Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Automotive Cluster organised a unique professional visit in cooperation with Knapp Hungary Kft. to Knapp AG in Austria, which develops and manufactures intelligent logistics systems.
On 15th May, the Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Automotive Cluster, operated by the Veszprém County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and the Quality Club organised a professional workshop for industry players in Nemesvámos, at Howmet-Köfém Kft.
On 18 October, the Veszprém County Chamber of Commerce and Industry organised a professional visit for the members of the Bakony-Balaton Automotive and Mechatronics Cluster and the Veszprém County Quality Club. On this occasion, the event was hosted by Thun Hungary Kft.
