The Thun Automotive group serves the European automotive industry, manufacturing metal parts for market-leading automotive companies (Ford, Mercedes, BMW, Rolls Royce). Thun Hungary Kft. is the Hungarian subsidiary of Thun Automotive GmbH, currently employing 170 people in its plants on the site of the former Bakony Works (stamping, welding, assembly).
The meeting began with a short welcome by Mária Blumenschein (club president) and Volker Klawitter (Managing Director of Thun Hungary Kft.), which was followed by Tibor Lontai, the company's Production Manager presentation of the company's history, profile and philosophy. József Homoki Quality Manager professional presentation during the course of the session, the participants were able to learn about the sampling and manufacturing of the specific component of the Isofix seat, as well as the operation and features of the BabtecQ CAQ software.
The short break following the presentations provided an opportunity for informal networkingre, then finally followed the factory visit, where those present could get a closer look at the ltd.'s manufacturing processes and technology.

On the initiative of the Veszprém County Chamber of Commerce and Industry, 21 businesses and institutions founded the Veszprém County Quality Club in May 2006 to promote the development and enhancement of a quality mindset.
