On 26th October, alongside Italy and Lithuania, Hungary hosted the EDUCATE Info Day, the main purpose of which was to inform adult education organisations, individual adult educators, adult learners and local authorities. The event served as a vibrant platform to showcase the essence and results of the EDUCATE project, which aligns with the overarching goal of enriching adult education across Europe.
The day began with a welcome from the host organisation. Participants were then able to learn about the details of the EDUCATE project, exploring the demand for quality adult education across Europe and showcasing the potential of the EDUCATE Interactive HUB. All features of the HUB were presented, along with the Sustainability and Monitoring toolkit.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the presentation of the EDUCATE Certification Scheme. Attendees were guided through the certification process, shedding light on the multifaceted benefits involved. The call to action was clear – encouraging participants to complete the certification to bring their best practices into the spotlight.
The event also provided fertile ground for dialogue about the future life of the EDUCATE HUB. The feedback and perspectives gathered during the Q&A and the closing speech were invaluable and illuminated the planned path for the project's follow-up.
