Dr Gabriella Baráth

Gabriella Baráth has been working at the Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency since 2015, where she deals with the preparation, coordination and implementation of European Union cooperation projects.
 
His work is primarily connected to sustainable spatial and urban development, environmental sustainability, the circular economy, agrifood innovation, business development, and youth and skills development programmes. He participates in European collaborations aimed at supporting policy learning, international exchange of experience, and the domestic application of good practices.
 
Previously she worked as a researcher and higher education lecturer. She obtained her doctoral degree in regional science through studies pursued at the University of Pécs and Paris 8 University. She still utilises her experience gained in research in her work today, which is nevertheless fundamentally defined by the implementation of practical solutions and developments. In her work, she strives to ensure that the results of international collaborations are also utilised in domestic developments and the everyday practice of the region.
