Ákos Szépvölgyi has been heading the agency since 2008. His work focuses on developing the regional innovation institutional system, coordinating domestic and Central European innovation cooperation, and shaping the strategic direction of KDRIÜ.
Alongside strategic and operational management, their activities are primarily connected to the initiation and management of European Union projects. In addition, an important task is the integration and representation of KDRIÜ in European professional networks and collaborations.
Its aim is for the WTRDA not only to be a regional player, but also a decisive innovation hub at national and Central European levels, connecting domestic businesses, institutions and developers with European networks.
