István Hegedűs has been involved in the preparation, coordination and implementation of domestic and European Union development projects for more than two decades. He began his career in 2002 at Balaton Integration Non-Profit Ltd, where, alongside managing domestically funded tenders, he also took part in drafting regional development documents. Following Hungary's accession to the European Union, his work increasingly focused on international cooperation and projects implemented through European programmes.
Throughout their career, they have gained extensive experience in environmental, energy, educational, regional development and interregional cooperation programmes. Between 2012 and 2021, they led the International Cooperation Group and facilitated the implementation of over thirty international projects and professional partnerships. They completed their higher education at the Zalaegerszeg Faculty of Finance and Accountancy of the Budapest Business School.
As lead project coordinator at KDRIÜ, her work focuses on the professional and operational coordination of international projects, supporting cooperation between partners, and successfully implementing project activities. In her work, she strives to ensure that the experience gained through international cooperation is also utilised in the development of the region and in domestic practice.
