The future of urban public transport is no longer a distant goal – it is here in the present. The spread of electric buses is a clear step towards the green transition.
A project managed by DDRIÜ Nonprofit Kft. its implementation represents not only a technological advancement, but has also brought about a genuine change in mind-set among players in the public sector and the transport profession. The aim of the project: to prepare the local public sector for the transition to electric buses by training competent, conscious and future-oriented decision-makers and professionals.
As part of the project, leaders and employees of public institutions, local authorities, public service providers and public-private partnerships were given the opportunity to acquire deeper, practice-oriented knowledge regarding the operation and maintenance of electric buses and strategic decision-making related to them.
Without a change in mindset, there is no progress
A Skilled e-Bus Transition project it brought not only technological but also attitudinal progress. The project supports sustainable transport, the green transition of the labour market, and the wellbeing of the community as a whole in the long term.
