Sustainability is not merely an ideal, but a real, achievable goal. In this spirit, we gathered with our partners on 1st February within the walls of the University of Pannonia.
At the second Hungarian stakeholder meeting of the CORE Interreg Europe project, alongside the project coordinator KDRIÜ Nonprofit Kft., delegates from the University of Pannonia, Veszprém Service City (VKSZ), the Lake Balaton Integrated Public Benefit Nonprofit Kft., the Humusz Association, and the Zöldellő Association were also in attendance.
The aim of the meeting was not only to review the progress of the project, but also to set joint goals and strengthen cooperation in the field of composting. Participants at the event established that, through joint efforts, huge advancements are expected in the field of composting in the coming period.
The participants enthusiastically embraced the challenges ahead of them, including joint educational programmes, training sessions, waste prevention, waste collection and waste processing initiatives. By the end of the meeting, the participants had taken another step towards cooperation and sustainability, outlining the joint activities for the coming period that will give momentum to the promotion of composting and related policies.
