A\u00a0Macher Zrt.<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>took place on 19 February at its site in Sz\u00e9kesfeh\u00e9rv\u00e1r\u00a0Bakony-Balaton Mechatronics and Automotive Cluster\u00a0<\/strong>for its members to this year's first workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Central Transdanubian Regional and Innovation Agency (KDRI\u00dc) <\/em>and the Veszpr\u00e9m County Chamber of Commerce and Industry<\/em> the aim of the professional event was to strengthen cooperation between cluster members and jointly review current industry challenges. Those in attendance Attila Czig\u00e1ny<\/em> greets on behalf of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Veszpr\u00e9m (VKIK) and the Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency (KDRI\u00dc), which perform the duties of cluster management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

the operation of the host company Macher M\u00e1rta<\/em>, presented by the company's president. Founded in 1991, the company's main activities include cable assembly, overmoulding, and the manufacturing of products for the automotive, electronics, aerospace, medical diagnostic and defence industries. The company's goal is to meet the highest quality standards, which is also supported by the numerous industry-specific certificates acquired over the years. The company received the National Excellence Award in 2021, currently operates on 2,500 square metres with around 100 employees, and its annual net turnover approached 1.6 billion forints last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The professional presenter of the programme\u00a0L\u00e1szl\u00f3 T\u00f6mpe<\/em>, was the president of the Hungarian Digilean Association, who spoke about the opportunities for strategic cost reduction in the automotive industry. In his presentation, he touched upon current economic challenges, industry trends \u2013 with a particular focus on the rise of artificial intelligence, automation, and the defence industry \u2013 as well as the importance of lean production systems and sustainable strategic operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The workshop concluded with a factory tour, during which participants were able to view the production and development departments, followed by an informal networking session to continue professional discussions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
