Today, there is a clear need to develop community-based tourism in less favoured destinations, using a greener and digital development approach, along the lines of the circular tourism approach. The RE-CONNECT project, implemented by an international consortium of 6 partners, aims to increase the competences of local tourism communities in the field of greener and more digital tourism products and services, in line with the priorities of environmental sustainability and climate goals and digital transformation.
