Disinformation is a constantly evolving phenomenon with great potential to negatively influence democratic processes and social debate. It can influence, for example, democratic debate and voting results, as some disinformation can change people's orientation, making the voter express a preference based on the will of the person affected by the disinformation. Spain, Portugal, Hungary, Greece, Lithuania, Romania, Finland, Poland and Italy will directly benefit from the project.
The FACT project aims to clarify and dispel fake news in the public consciousness. Young people, as opinion leaders, will be a great help in this, and we want to involve them in our mission in a playful way. Through students, we want to bring real information to the older generation, as they have fewer opportunities to obtain it.
Hundreds of young people have already participated in the project, learning how to identify fake news through various playful training sessions and workshops.
