PPI2Innovate
On 1 June 2016, the Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency launched its PPI2Innovate project under the INTERREG CE Program. The aim of the project is to widen the scope of Public Procurement of Innovation (PPI) in Central Europe.
We intend to achieve the goals of the project by supporting the integration of innovations (products or services) in the procurement system before or at the beginning of their entering the market. The project, implemented with the Hungarian Lead Partner (Central Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency), promotes the dissemination of the PPI approach, the establishment of implementation framework, and the building of national competence centres. Our agency supports the cooperation of innovative entrepreneurs and domestic public procurers. Through innovative public procurement, the cooperating parties can reach the market for innovative products and large-scale production, as well as higher and better quality public services provided by the public procurer.
The project partners are innovation, development agencies, innovation intermediary organizations, as well as municipalities and ministries at different territorial levels in Hungary, Italy, the Czech Republic, Slovenia, Poland and Croatia.
The following partners are involved in the implementation of the project:
- Czech Republic - DEX Innovation Centre
- Slovenia – Ministry of Public Administration
- Slovenia – ICT Technology Network Institute
- Poland - Municipality of Lublin
- Poland – Rzeszow Regional Development Agency
- Hungary - Central-transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency
